It is fairly simple and does not display much information for example the artists name is not written on the cover just a simple first initial this may discourage people to purchase this single and may not create audience appeal however with artist such as Rihanna who is a global sensation the image of the herself shows clearly who’s single it is and a representation of her success and fame. The sexual and provocative appearance of the artist herself creates a controversial statement, and is more outspoken through the image referring to nudity compared to other single and album covers for sale.
